Aged care in Australia has entered its biggest change in a generation. The new Aged Care Act and the Support at Home program both commenced on 1 November 2025, and the strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards now put clinical care, allied health and reablement at the centre of good care. At the same time, occupational therapy remains among the hardest allied health roles to recruit and keep.
Zenzability helps registered aged care providers close that gap. We are an allied health partner, delivering mobile, telehealth and in-facility occupational therapy on your behalf, across the Macarthur region and south-west Sydney. We work through your service rather than directly with the public, so your clients get consistent, high quality care and your team gets one dependable point of contact.
The new Aged Care Act formally recognises the arrangement many providers already rely on. A registered provider can engage an outside allied health business, known as an associated provider, to deliver services on its behalf. The associated provider delivers the clinical care, while the registered provider continues to hold the funding relationship and remains accountable for the care.

The strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards raise clear expectations around clinical care. Standard 5 recognises that allied health professionals have distinct roles in reablement and in helping older people maintain their functional capacity, and it expects providers to assess needs, plan for reablement, and facilitate access to the right allied health professionals.

Yes. We provide sessions and clinics within residential facilities, mobile visits in clients’ homes for home support and Support at Home clients, and telehealth where it suits. We tailor delivery to how your service operates.
Standard 5 expects providers to assess clinical needs, plan for reablement, and facilitate access to allied health professionals. Partnering with us gives your clients timely access to occupational therapy, with clear clinical notes and reporting to support your governance and quality processes.
