About Zenzability

Zenzability is a growing Occupational Therapy practice based in Smeaton Grange, supporting children, adolescents and adults across the Macarthur and South-West Sydney regions.

We believe great therapy comes from clinicians having the time, autonomy and support to do their jobs well. We are building a practice that prioritises quality clinical care, genuine relationships with participants and families, and a sustainable working environment for our therapists.

Our services are delivered across our Smeaton Grange clinic as well as participants’ homes, schools and community settings.

About the Role

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our team.

This is a varied role with the opportunity to build a caseload that reflects your clinical interests and experience. You may work with children, adolescents and/or adults and provide a combination of ongoing therapy and assessments.

Your work may include:

  • Ongoing capacity-building Occupational Therapy
  • Functional Capacity Assessments
  • Assistive technology and equipment assessments
  • Home modification assessments
  • Supported Independent Living assessments
  • Specialist Disability Accommodation assessments
  • Progress reports and other NDIS-related reports
  • Collaboration with families, support coordinators, schools and other allied health professionals

You will have autonomy over your clinical work while being part of a small and supportive team.

What We Offer

We want Zenzability to be somewhere clinicians can build a sustainable career without the unnecessary pressure that can come with larger organisations.

We offer:

  • Flexible working arrangements and the ability to structure your week around your life
  • A combination of clinic and community-based work
  • No unrealistic KPI culture
  • Protected time for report writing, clinical documentation and other non-face-to-face work
  • Administrative support so clinicians can focus on clinical work
  • A manageable caseload with an emphasis on quality rather than volume
  • Clinical support and opportunities for professional development
  • A modern clinic in Smeaton Grange
  • Variety across therapy, assessments and report writing
  • The opportunity to help shape a growing allied health practice
  • A friendly, collaborative environment where your professional judgement is respected

About You

We would love to hear from you if you:

  • Hold a recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • Have current AHPRA registration
  • Have, or are eligible to obtain, an NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Hold a current Working With Children Check where required
  • Have a current driver’s licence and access to a vehicle
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Are comfortable working independently while collaborating with a broader care team
  • Take pride in producing high-quality clinical work and reports
  • Are organised, reliable and genuinely enjoy helping participants work towards meaningful goals

Experience within the NDIS or disability sector is highly regarded, particularly experience completing Functional Capacity Assessments or complex assessments, but we are also interested in clinicians who are looking to develop these skills.

Who This Role Would Suit

This role may particularly suit an Occupational Therapist who enjoys the clinical work but wants greater flexibility and autonomy than is typically available in a large multidisciplinary organisation.

We are interested in finding the right person, rather than simply filling a position.

If you value quality clinical work, flexibility, autonomy and being part of a growing practice where you can have a genuine impact, we’d love to hear from you.

Apply

Please submit your CV together with a short introduction telling us about your experience, the type of Occupational Therapy work you enjoy and what you are looking for in your next role.
